 Cape Grim Beef is a premium beef and naturally raised in Tasmania, Australia. They nurture the finest quality cattle, without harming the pristine environment. Raised on rich pastures with nothing else added, Cape Grim Beef is hand-selected and rigorously graded, rewarding you with pure beef flavour – made by nature. 

 Shank comes from the leg portion of the animal and is a lean cut (think about what our cows do all day: stand, walk, graze, and walk some more.) Perfect for stews. With a longer cooking technique to break down the meat and draw out the natural marrow, shank becomes a celebrated entree. One portion is usually enough for 2 adults when cooked in a stew. For really tender meat we recommend a cooking time of around 1.5 - 2.5 hours.
